Social Pulse ("we," "our," or "us") operates the social media analytics platform available at social-pulse.net (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Service, including when you connect your TikTok account via TikTok Login Kit.
1. Information We Collect
When you connect your TikTok account to Social Pulse, we collect the following information through TikTok's official Login Kit API:
- Open ID — Your unique TikTok user identifier
- Display Name — Your public TikTok display name
- Avatar — Your TikTok profile picture URL
If you grant additional permissions, we may also access:
- Video List — Your published TikTok videos for performance analytics
- Basic Account Metrics — Follower count and engagement data
We do not collect passwords, direct messages, private videos, or any content you have not made publicly available on TikTok.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your TikTok data is used exclusively to power your personalized Social Pulse dashboard, including:
- Displaying your profile information within the platform
- Generating performance analytics and engagement metrics
- Providing trend analysis and content recommendations
- Tracking audience growth and engagement patterns
- Scheduling and publishing content on your behalf (only with explicit consent)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage and Security

- Access tokens are encrypted at rest
- Access is restricted to authorized personnel only
